Subject: [FAST News] FAST High School Meet Practice Cancellation Schedule

To all FAST Parents:
We are at that time of year again where the high school swimming season has started up, which means there will be High School meets taking place at Wilkerson.
Since we rent the facility at Wilkerson in order to facilitate the FWISD and the dual meets being held, we may only use a certain number of lanes when these meets are taking place.
Most meets take place on Thursday evenings, so we need to cancel on a rotating basis the groups that practice those nights.

Please note the schedule below for October and November and mark the practice cancellation dates on your calendar. Also please note that if your swimmers group is scheduled to be cancelled that night, they will not be allowed to "just swim" with other groups if they are dropped off at the pool. We need to keep the lanes open for the groups that are scheduled on these evenings.


We will be using a rotating "A" and "B" schedule for cancellations. Please note also that we have scheduled cancellations through the end of the short course year for high school meets. These are only two months of meets and both groups have been scheduled for equal evenings off, which will all work out evenly in the end. Several back to back weeks off are based around the entire seasons FAST meet calendar to try and ensure swimmers are not missing time around a club meet.

"B" NIGHTS: WHITE/SILVER/MASTERS


OCT. 1ST -- A GROUP
OCT. 8TH -- A GROUP
OCT. 15TH -- B GROUP
OCT. 22ND -- B GROUP
OCT. 29TH -- A GROUP
NOV. 5TH -- A GROUP
NOV. 12TH -- B GROUP
NOV. 19TH -- A GROUP
